Employers will be conducting on-the-spot hiring, and attendees will have access to job coaches, legal aid, and additional resources such as haircuts and clothing. Childcare services are also available for those who need them.

Rose emphasized the event’s accessibility, stating, “If you don’t have the right thing to wear, if you don’t have childcare, if you don’t have a resume, none of that matters. Just come as you are.”

The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the DC Dream Center located at 2826 Q St. SE. It aims to provide practical support and encouragement to individuals seeking to rebuild their lives and pursue meaningful employment opportunities.
