In the initial phase of this ambitious endeavor, 120 ë-C3 vehicles will be delivered to Hyderabad. This city, already at the forefront of transitioning towards more eco-friendly transport solutions, will witness the benefits of this initiative in the coming months. OHM E Logistics aims to integrate the remaining 880 vehicles into its fleet over the next 12 months, showcasing its strong dedication to sustainability and operational efficiency in logistics.

This collaboration with Citroën marks a continuation of OHM’s ongoing efforts to embrace sustainable energy solutions. In October 2022, OHM introduced 100 electric taxis at GMR Hyderabad Airport, providing travelers with an environmentally friendly transportation option. The addition of the new fleet of ë-C3s further underscores this commitment, contributing to the reduction of the city’s carbon footprint.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Citroën India Brand Director Shishir Mishra stated, “We are thrilled to partner with OHM E Logistics Pvt. Ltd. in their endeavor to adopt sustainable transport solutions. This partnership underscores our mutual vision to promote electric mobility and mitigate the carbon footprint in the mobility sector.”

Dr. Nirmal Reddy, Founder and Chairman of OHM Group, echoed Mishra’s sentiments, stating, “With the all-new Citroën ë-C3, we are pleased to enhance OHM’s commitment to progressive energy solutions and sustainability in reducing carbon emissions. We are dedicated to fostering a greener and more sustainable planet.”

This announcement follows closely on the heels of another significant triumph for Citroën: securing a contract to supply up to 4,000 ë-C3s to BluSmart, another electric mobility company. These endeavors underscore Citroën’s pivotal role in driving the transition towards sustainable transportation solutions in India.

In essence, the partnership between Citroën and OHM E Logistics marks a significant stride towards a greener future for India’s mobility sector. By delivering 1,000 ë-C3 electric vehicles, Citroën not only strengthens its presence in the Indian market but also significantly contributes to carbon emissions reduction. This project exemplifies how collaborative efforts between businesses can yield innovative and sustainable solutions, benefiting both the economy and the environment.
