Boeing Files Complaint Against Union Over Negotiation Tactics During West Coast Strike

Boeing has filed an unfair labor practice charge against the union representing its striking workers, accusing them of failing to negotiate in good faith during an ongoing work stoppage at its West Coast manufacturing facilities. The charge, filed on Thursday with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), claims that the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) has engaged in a “pattern of bad faith bargaining” and misled its members about the status of negotiations.

The charge targets the IAMAW, which represents approximately 33,000 factory workers at Boeing’s West Coast facilities. The workers have been on strike for over four weeks, demanding better working conditions and improved compensation.
