Abbott says he will soon sign laws that focuses on property taxes and border security

Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced Monday an immediate special session.

The move comes after the 88th Texas Legislature had adjourned for the regular session without passing some of the governor’s key bills.

The two big agenda items that were discussed were property taxes and border security.
