Aleksandar Pavlovic has emerged as a standout performer for FC Bayern Munich this season, earning recognition as one of the team’s rising stars. Following his debut for the German giants last October, the talented defensive midfielder has secured a permanent spot in the squad. Now, Pavlovic is on the verge of signing a new contract with the club.
According to reports from Sport BILD, Bayern’s management is keen to secure Pavlovic’s services for the long term and are planning to extend his current contract, which runs until 2027. Impressed by Pavlovic’s performances, the club executives are eager to reward him with improved financial terms as part of the new deal.
Despite facing recent setbacks due to illness, Pavlovic remains a key figure in Bayern’s plans. Head coach Thomas Tuchel has expressed his confidence in the youngster, who returned to action in the team’s 5-1 victory over Union Berlin, partnering effectively with Leon Goretzka in midfield.
Reflecting on his rapid ascent, Pavlovic remarked, “Sometimes it’s really hard for me to realize. A year ago, I played my first game for the men at the Grünwalder Stadion, and now I’ve already played 16 games for the first team.” However, the 19-year-old remains focused on the present, maintaining a game-by-game approach to his career progression.
Since his debut last year, Pavlovic has consistently impressed for Bayern, tallying 15 Bundesliga appearances along with two goals and two assists to his name. He has become a regular feature under Tuchel’s stewardship, showcasing his talent honed through Bayern’s youth system. Pavlovic signed his first professional contract with the club in November last year, signaling a promising future ahead.
