The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) has initiated a strategic effort to bolster job prospects for Pakistani nationals in the international market by tasking Community Welfare Attaches (CWAs) stationed abroad.
According to an official source, the Government of Pakistan has deployed 21 CWAs across various locations worldwide, entrusted with the responsibility of strategically identifying and enhancing employment opportunities for Pakistani citizens.
The primary objective of this endeavor is to assess and augment the effectiveness of CWAs in identifying targeted demand for employment prospects among foreign employers. This entails the formulation, negotiation, and execution of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and agreements with foreign companies, pivotal in expanding the export of Pakistani manpower.
Central to this initiative is fostering close collaboration between CWAs and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistani and Human Resource Development. This collaborative effort aims to facilitate the exchange of information regarding overseas employment demands and the requisite skill sets demanded by foreign employers. By aligning training programs with these skill requirements, Pakistani workers can enhance their competitiveness in the global job market.
