Meriaura Energy Ltd (Meriaura Energy) has recently announced a significant milestone in its endeavors with the agreement to deliver a turn-key solar thermal plant in Lübeck, Germany, in collaboration with Stadtwerke Lübeck Energie GmbH. Valued at close to EUR 5 million, this contract encompasses the construction of a solar thermal field covering an expansive area of approximately 12,000 square meters, alongside the implementation of a thermal storage system to provide heat to the district heating network.
Pending the acquisition of a building permit by the customer, the project is poised to commence without delay. Subsequent to this, the construction phase of the solar thermal plant is projected to kick off, with the anticipated completion slated for early 2025.
