The Ohio State University has appointed Kent Barnett as the new dean of the Moritz College of Law, effective August 15. Barnett, currently serving as the associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Georgia (UGA) School of Law, brings a wealth of administrative experience and scholarly expertise to his new role.
In his capacity as dean, Barnett will lead efforts to enhance the college’s reputation as a premier law school, emphasizing student-centered education, innovative scholarship, and strategic initiatives to equip graduates with the skills needed to navigate a rapidly evolving legal landscape.
