Sintavia wins US DoD hypersonic contract

by Celia

Sintavia has secured a significant contract from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for the development of additively manufactured hypersonic propulsion components. This contract, part of the Growing Additive Manufacturing Maturity for Airbreathing Hypersonics (GAMMA-H) project, was awarded to Sintavia through the S²MARTS OTA managed by the National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL).

Under the GAMMA-H project, Sintavia will focus on developing and demonstrating robust quality and operational processes necessary for designing and manufacturing critical precision components essential for hypersonic flight. By validating these processes specifically for hypersonic propulsion components, Sintavia aims to contribute to the broader hypersonic industrial base. The contract is slated to continue through 2025.
