‘Move Over Law’ going into effect across Indiana on July 1

Starting Saturday, a new “Move Over” law goes into effect across Indiana.

For years, Hoosier drivers have had to “move over” or switch lanes or slow down for emergency vehicles on the side of the road.

Starting July 1, that will now include any stranded motorist or broken-down vehicle.
