Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has signed a bill into law that paves the way for the creation of 33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state. This significant development was confirmed in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde.
The bill, which had previously been passed by the State House of Assembly, has now received the Governor’s assent, providing it with the necessary legal backing for the establishment of the LCDAs in Ondo State.
Key officials from the State House of Assembly were present at the bill-signing ceremony, including Deputy Speaker Abayomi Akinruntan, Majority Leader Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, and Parliamentary Secretary Moyinoluwa Ogunwumiju, among others.
